Nice to meet you

We’re Abby and Meg—sisters who grew up creating and sticking together through the beauty and perils of the deep south. Annie Mae was our great-grandmother, whose home was shrouded in azaleas and crushed velvet. We regularly found her working in her garden, tying up beans and trimming monkey grass with scissors. Our photos aim to capture this beauty of ordinary life, as well as commemorating its most special events. From communing with the earth and each other, to the flow of work and rest, and the deep joy of sharing stories and meals together, we want to photograph your “one wild and precious life” in natural light.

  • Meet Abby

Abby lives in Nashville where she makes music, visual art, and all our dreams come true. She mostly spends her days painting abstracts, creating brand designs for small businesses, and snuggling her sweet cat baby, Reggie Miller. She sees the bits that are lovely, honest, and worth putting to tape. Her vibrant, creative energy has a way of encouraging our true selves to come out of hiding.

  • Meet Meg

Meg spent the last several years working in music and audio engineering in Nashville. After relocating to Chattanooga, TN, she now spends her days with her two babies, working on her 100 year old bungalow, and gardening. She began taking photos as a way to pay attention to the wealth of cosmic beauty hidden in the details of everyday life. Forever inspired by good poetry and music, she hopes to bring the same storytelling to life in her images.
